The Severn Challengers
Welcome
| Welcome to the Severn Challengers web site home of The Severn Challengers golf society. The society had its inaugural tour in 1996 on courses in and around the River Severn. In 1996, there were seven founding members – Jon Ford, Tony Bennett, Graham Bennett, Tim Smith, Nick Webb, Steve Webb and Adrian Axelsen. Thus the name – The Severn Challengers is also a hilarious* pun on the number seven. Over the years the tour has grown and new players have come and gone augmenting the original group. 27 players have competed over the years Click here for the Hall of Fame View The Honours Board to explore the historic results and stats of the tour *some may not find this hilarious and that’s quite ok | News 2024 Winner is Peter Haynes.
